How to introduce the toothbrush

Introduce the toothbrush gradually and allow your pet to progress at their own pace:

1. Let your pet see and sniff the toothbrush while it is switched off.
2. Switch it on nearby so they can become familiar with the sound.
3. Briefly touch the handle to their neck or back to introduce the sensation.
4. Begin with the front teeth for just a few seconds.
5. Gradually increase the brushing time and number of teeth cleaned.
6. Reward calm behaviour with praise or a favourite treat.

Never force the toothbrush into your pet’s mouth.

How often should I use it?

For effective everyday dental care, brush your pet’s teeth daily where possible. If daily brushing is not practical, aim for at least three to four times each week.

Cleaning and care

Remove the brush head and rinse it thoroughly under running water after each use. Wipe the main toothbrush unit with a clean, damp cloth.
