Care instructions

Remove loose fur and dirt regularly. Wipe clean using a damp cloth or sponge, then allow the cover to dry fully before folding or storing.

Do not use bleach or harsh cleaning products. Check the straps, seams and fastenings regularly and discontinue use if any part becomes damaged.

Travel safety

This cover is designed to help protect your car’s interior and provide a more secure seating area. It is not a crash-tested safety restraint.

Always secure your dog using an appropriate vehicle harness and compatible restraint attached according to the restraint manufacturer’s instructions. Never attach a travel restraint directly to your dog’s collar.

Frequently asked questions

Does the dog car seat hammock protect the doors?

The raised side panels provide additional coverage around the sides of the rear seating area. The exact level of protection will depend on your vehicle’s shape and the way the cover fits.

Will it stop my dog falling into the footwell?

The hammock-style design closes the gap between the front and rear seats, helping reduce the risk of your dog slipping into the footwell during normal travel. Your dog should still be secured with a suitable vehicle restraint.

Is it suitable for large dogs?

The generous 137 × 148cm design may suit small, medium and larger breeds, depending on your vehicle and the space your dog needs. Check both the dimensions and your rear-seat measurements before purchasing.

Can passengers use the back seat with the cover installed?

This depends on your vehicle, the configuration of the cover and the available seat-belt openings. Never allow a passenger to use a seat unless the seat belt and seating position are fully accessible and safe.

Is the cover machine washable?

The supplied care guidance recommends cleaning it with a damp cloth or sponge. We do not recommend machine washing unless the care label supplied with your item specifically confirms that it is suitable.
